Hi I'm trying to convert my avi to another codec but it doesn't allow me vdub says Error Decompressing video frame. An unknown error occurred (may be corrupt data). (error code -100). I tried using divfix but it didn't find bad frames. I tried scanning for badframes in Vdubmod and delete it but it doesn't seem want to make me a new copy. I watched the episode and it was fine so what is wrong?

VDub 1.5.4 gave me the same error. I doubt you have the same problem, but here's how I got VDub to explain what's going wrong. Under video tab I set error mode to "Decode even if the results were garbled", then tried to play the vid. VDub crashed & gave me an error report that said the XviD codec tried to divide by 0. So I installed XviD 1.0.3 (Dec 2004) from doom9.net & now the vid plays fine.

    Hope this helps.
