Oooo, thanks for that, looks interesting.. BUT, it wont solve my current problem lol.. however, i have bookmarked it for the future should anything else go wrong and i cant navigate my round vista. Thanks again. Gonna order new external usb writer tomorrow i think, seems the only way i will get it sorted, and with all the x264 files i have i am rapidly running out of space so need to get burning! Hey, I have been away for a while unexpectedly, but back now. I gotta say big thanks to the poster who suggested vistaliser, i now have my xp in english woop woop.. and i did what Ihoe suggested and clicked dvd rom drives etc and it says as per my post SLimtype DVD A DS8A1P ATA device. So i guess you cant tell which DVD burner i have? If anyone can it would really help. Thanks
