an error message and unhandled exception occured using phone tools 1.23 that I d/led. Could not complete setup. I am using WinXP SP2
I'm just taking a shot here ... anyone else chime in. Does anyone think that perhaps if user's who have SP2 installed would turn off the XP Firewall that automatically gets turned on with SP2 while installing the Mobile Phone Tools, then maybe that would work? I installed the MPTs on Windows XP Home SP1 with my firewall (zone alarm) and antivirus turned on with no problems. However, I don't have the XP firewall turned on. Maybe it's just a security issue with SP2 altogether, but who knows. Maybe one day I'll install SP2 when I'm forced to.

Roscoe, I have no idea. I'm not a programmer. However, it is obvious that the phone book part of the application is having problems. If you are still using earlier version (v1.23), you need to download the update that fixes some problems (v2.21).
The first one will not install and that is the problem. I can not do the 2.xx till the first one fully installs

How about one more big question,I have mobile PhoneTools working.I downloaded midway 2.8 openned and working and winACE I also download 4 RAR. games this is with a v220 phone. How do I put it all together??? Thank you!
I have NO idea about the game aspect. To me, the screen isn't big enough on the V220. It's better on the V400. You might just want to start another thread or ask a question in several of the threads addressing games on these phones.
