Hello all I am having a problem copying SAW (R2).

I am using AnyDVD v4.6.3.1 with both CloneDVD2 v2.7.5.1 and 1ClickDVDCopy v4.1.1.4 burning at 8x using Datawrite Classic printables.

The manufacturer is identified as Mitsubishi Chemical Corp using DVD Identifier v3.6.2.

I use a external Sony DVD RW DRU-710a updated with the lastest firmware.

The burning works fines with both programs but when I tested the disc with NERO CD-DVD Speed I had errors with the following files,

    \Video_ts\VTS_01_2.vob,
    \Video_ts\VTS_01_3.vob and
    \Video_ts\VTS_01_4.vob

I then used DVD decrypter and burned with both programs and still got the same errors so I tried burning at a slower speed (2-2.4x) but this time the programs didn't finished burning they just popped up with an error saying write failed.

My system is a AMD 1.6ghz with 512MB Ram with 20 gigs hard drive space left for copying.

Any help would be gratfully received.

    [bold]burning at 8x using Datawrite Classic printables[/bold]

Slow down the burn speed to 4x or lower.

Your burner may not like that certain mfg coded media.

I don't think your problem is related to AvyDVD since you're getting errors during writing. I would strongly suspect the DVD media you are using. Even "good media gone bad" episodes occur.

IMNSHO, AnyDVD is one of the best, if not the best, program for removing copy protedtion.

    Hi all

Thanks for your help it was most gratefull, in the end I had to slow the burning from 8x to 4x while using the combination of DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink.

I also tested the combination of DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink using some old 2x disks and it also worked.

Many thanks to everyone who answered.

    hey guys,

i have a question on behalf of the dvd decryptor and dvd shrink combination...

when i use dvd decryptor should i rip with "file" selected or should i just use "read".....

after this, when i use dvd shrink i should choose "open files" or other?

also on dvd shrink should i check the enable nero for burning.. if not how do i burn with dvd decryptor using dvd shrink....

i have the same problem with "saw" so i was just wondering
