Lost access to channels (information banner readslease wait, codes being updated).Virgin provider,tried 1968 code on language (was already enabled) linked direct & tinternet disabled, scanned very slowly with low signal strength. no channels afterwards.Re-jigged conn to original(bypassing orig box) pulled a regular powerscan to get terrestrial channels back, thats all i have every other channel has info banner as above and just sits there.

You will need to manually enter the codes

Press 'menu' then press 'Yellow' on the remote

You should see a box to input the codes and at the bottom a 'key' explaining what button is for which letter

Download the bigMAQ toolbar and once installed press the Latest Keys button to find the codes for your provider (the one before Virgin)


Input the codes, for provider id use one of these:

Provider ID:
exC&W: 5C 01
NTHell: 54 01
Telepest: 5A 01

and use the code from the toolbar for the rest of it.

To permanently fix this you will need to get a 9pin female to female null modem cable and flash your firmware with the latest firmware which you should be able to find on here.

 

having problems again im ntl uk entered the new codes worked great then came home from work and im of again tried the same codes and nothing happened plz help!!

 

As far as I can tell they haven't rolled again yet, there are no new codes on bigMAQ toolbar and mine's still on (though im exC&W)
