If the local cable provider carries these channels they you would receive them. The eurovox will not work on satellite.

I got both of these bits below from another forum. Apparently there is a eurovox dvb-xc. I know nothing about the eurovox, so don't know if this info is relevant to your problem.

"try doing another power scan,go to installation, press yellow button for power scan, change mode to full and press ok wait about 20 mins and you should have all channels again. If this dosnt work your box probably needs flashing with more up to date firmware."

"theres no benefit to doing as manual scan on every freq within the installation menu rather than an autoscan. if anyone is having probs with no channels after a powerscan, its more likely to do with the fact that you are either not using the clear data option within the config menu to erase existing channels first, or you are not setting the proper symbol rate. When you press the yellow button for powerscan this will open another smaller window with the heading "full power scan". If you are on the T/W or ex c&w network press the OK button, if however you are on the NT! network you will have to highlight within the window the first entry for symbol rate, usually (6.952) and edit this to (6.887)then press OK."
