Hi, Have a 2008 Euro-Vox. N*l Lucan area. Sky Sp*rts and SkySp*rts News audio and picture break up. Have latest firmware installed. Also Set Golf channel's picture jumps from full screen to small every couple of secs. Any help greatly appreciated.

Anyone any ideas? I've tried changing the TP to 394, 394.5, 395, 395.5 with no luck.

Set Golf picture problem is caused by the way Set broadcast on that channel so it is not a box problem. In relation to picture breakup it sounds like a signal problem, messing about with 394.000 wont have any affect on these channels as they are both on 315.000.

Hi sc0user, My mistake, meant to say 314, 314.5 etc. Have noticed an improvement over the last two days in these channels at 315.000. Is there a way to get the golf full screen? I read a thread with a guide in it to try and sort this but tried some of the suggestions and didnt work. Thanks for the reply btw I've got a lot of problems sorted by reading some of your posts and replies.

The problem is not your box but the way Se*an*a broadcast their picture. Many programs on cable are still transmitted as 4:3 or 14:9 not 16:9 and so if you are using a widescreen tv that is set for 16:9 the picture will not fill the screen. If you switch the box to fullscreen the picture will then fill the widescreen tv but the image is sampled to fill the screen but is compressed and flattened. This is an incorrect setting and there wont be a fix for that apart from understanding that it is not meant to fill the screen unless the program is broadcast in 16:9. What is shown on your tv, is the settings on the tv adjusting for the box's failings
