euro vox probs again

HI GUYS! my first time using this site so not sure if im going about this right.. i have eurovox max 2007 for the last year and a half, it used to work well updating codes by itself, but has stopped working the last 3 months i havent been to bothered until the new soccer season got underway. i was putting the codes in manually for a while but cant seem to get them anymore....only the basic chanels work at the moment... i live in galway im an n*l customer.. just wondering can anyone help me out. thanking you in advance!

i have a eurovox tx 2008 series and can not get it to tune into the ntl signal in the clonee ongar area.

 

does the box need 2 be flashed. any chance u could be in cable aera . then u need eurovox c .

I hope I have followed the correct etiquette, I tried to post in the most recent thread.


I got a big problem with my Eurovox V 2008 Black. I came back from my hols 3 weeks ago to a totally dead box - no LEDs, nothing. I bought a repaired powerboard off ebay and now my box powers up. I did a factory reset and then upgraded the firmware using the UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08. Then I did a powerscan using the symbol rate of 6.887 (I'm in Manchester) and it found no channels at all. So I tried 6.952 and still no channels. I then noticed that my codes were empty so I used the bigmap toolbar to find the correct(?) codes. Another 2 powerscans and still no channels. What next?

I have got 0000 on my front panel
When I flashed the box I had to flash it 4/5 times because it kept getting stuck on 78%
During the powerscan the signal quality varies between 7 and 87% so it looks like the rf cable is ok

Any help will be much appreciated

Depends on where abouts you are in manchester to what your symbol rate is, try 6952 first then if that doesnt work do another factory default and try the 6887.

 

can anyone help!! my tv has gone off yet AGAIN i am on the eurovox with a telewest signal

But, in a nutshell, what I put in my description is what is in the Tut. And I tried both symbol rates on the powerscan.

I need this fixing by sunday to see the reds stuff the rent boys

 

Can't and won't get any help in that direction on here, you need to update your box with latest firmware. When was it last updated?

Did it flash correctly could you press menu, config, system info and tell us whats in there? also to rule out the obvious is you feed live and do you have the live feed pluged into your RF in and not the Ant.

I've reflashed the box several times, done a factory default reset and powerscanned on symbol rates 6887 and 6952.

With 6887 I get no channels at all but with 6952 I get a list of 39 channels using QAM64 but when I try to watch anything I get "Channel currently not available"

When I check out the Nagra codes they are empty. Is this normal ?

I am getting desperate now, the match starts very soon
