This works until i disconnect the power and switch the unit back on the next day. Then the GMT switches it self back on and the time is wrong again.

Unfortunally if you turn off the power you will have to set it again

I have tried to change time as per your info but with no success. When I do autoscan and then turn GMT off I do not get any EPG times at all.
I have two Box's and can get neither to work. I also have a problem in that one of them will show what is playing as I go down the list and the other will not. Any ideas?

Follow the step and you will get it right , I had to do mine about 3 or 4 times before I got it lol

    1. Set time using GMT.
    2. Go to installation, user installation.
    3. Press red button to preform an autoscan.
    4. When autoscan completes, IMMEDIATELY go to time settings again.
    5. Make sure time is still correct.
    6. Turn GMT off.
    7. Press blue button to save and exit.

If you do an autoscan do you lose all your channel setups? Favourites, locked channels etc. ??

EUREKA!!!! It finally worked after numerous attempts. I am scared to go near the box again in case it reverts. Many thanks for your help.

I have one box with software dated Sept 06 2007 and the other Oct 15 2007 both quite different. Which would you prefer?

Can I just check what I am doing wrong here??

Where it says set time using GMT, do I not have to have GMT off to set the time?

Everytime I go back to the time setting the time has changed back again (after doing the scan).

Congrats on getting the EPG working lol :)

Are the 2 boxes the same ? e.g. Eurov0x Max V 2008 ? If so the OCT KURO firmware is best for both

When you go to set the time , Use GMT ON and use the e.g. -1 , -2 etc to set the correct time , then auto scan , then immedially go back to time settings and make sure the time is CORRECT and turn the GMT OFF
