Eurovox 2008 NEED HELP PLZ ! "J TAGGING" DEAD BOX!!!!!

yes that is normal you will have to jtag the box first when you have the cable connected to the box and the pc follow the instructions that came with the jtag kit as long as the power board is working that is all you need

but even though the power board is working itself you will not see any lights on the box ok

Hi furgusrb,as you said it was down to lead.Box is up and running again however i put the eurovox blue tsop bin file on so won't let me update with my max v update,should i of used the max v full dump file and how can i correct my mistake,thanks for your patience!!!

 

if you box is a black 2008 you should have used the black tsop on it just jtag the box now with the black tsop now then update it with the correct firmware for that box then make sure its clone safe or it will die again

 

Hi,i did look in the firmware supplied with the jtag but only software for black v max was "black v max full dump bin file" all it said on instructions was to use tsop bin file only one was the one i used.So if i erase it again and re write with the "black v max full dump bin file" is should solve it,thanks!!!

 

yep thats it spot on that should work try it and see ok cant guarantee that it will chance you take at this stage

 

Sound,i'll give it a go in morning at least she lives again,i could just update the firmware version itss got on if i can't change it i suppose.To be honest i'm still quite shocked how straght forward it was once i was shown the path,i really thought it was a beyond help!goes to show knowledge is power,thanks for all your advice hope i can be of some help in the future,thanks! q

Hi,fergusrb your the dogs shizzle.Re jtag'd box just erased and re wrote with black v max full dump and hey presto!i'm now officially back "in the mix" good times!!! thanks again for all your help.
