Eurovox 2008 problem help

    Skyebabe at this stage its either a problem with your connections or a cc problem is your n.l working when you put the coax into your telly?

    have you got your n.l coaxal cable (the white 1 from the box on your wall)plugged into your rf in? if you have take it out and put it into your tv and see have you got a connection to n.l it may be a problem in your area

    yers i will reconnect all of the wires after i do this scan

    No skybabe what im saying is please check your connection by taking the coax out of your eurovox and plug it int o your telly to see if you have a problem in your area

    Doing my best to help skybabe,it has to be a problem with your box i have to go early start in the morning but hang on in there some1 will come along and sort your problem for you

    You need to go to menu, then config, then clear data 6.887 and then clear channel data 6.887

    Then go back into Menu then Installation then press User Installation

    You might need to type in pin 1004

    Then press the RED button to Autoscan

    Make sure your cable is plugged into the RF socket and not the antenna port

    when i go to do an auto scan after clearing data it says No Transpoter to scan

    Hi lads noticed that you are all in ireland.Heard that you have all been switched off by the dreded n t hell,is there no truth in this then.Seems they have found a way to stop us viewing,would appreciate your views.

    No don't no where you got that from just 1 code change in 5 months and any1 with the right software on the boxes were not affected.

    No Still recking my head have tried everything that i have been told and go 10 channels at one stage but there gone again

    only thing i can think of is a manual scan do you want to give it a go?

    Ya i think i know what the problem is thought there is no provider number showing on the tv screen when you press the tv button on the remote and i don't know how to insert it. I will try the manual scan now

    TRy this first Manually scanning channels.
    Press menu, Installation, User installation, Enter pin,
    Then press ch edit (green button)
    Then press Add (red button)
    Use the v arrow on the remote change the frequency to 291 change the Symbol rate to 6887 press ok repeat this process for the following frequencies 299,307, 315,323,339,347,355,363,371,379,395,403. exit once press ok on all the frequencies then press manual scan this will then scan on the tps your missing, you should end up with about 140 channells,when all the channels come in go to a premium channel ie sly premier and wait a few moments for the keys to update
