eurovox all channels gone nthell dublin

    hi guys help please,channels went during night

    Have you checked all your connections? Can you still get RTE?

    did you check and see was there a cable problem inyour area?

    hey exact same problem here - no channels at all. all connections fine and no cable problem in the area.

    can you plug your coaxil into the back of your tv and see if you have any channels

    what firmware have you on your box?

    eurovox max v firmware. think it was around june wen i downloaded the latest one

    can you try a factory reset and then a powwr scan and see if it works only thing is you will loose all your saved stuff,or else you could load a channel dump from eamos library.

    no luck. did a powerscan. found the 13 frequencies but wen it scanned dem, only came back with 10 channels (named tvchan1 - tvchan10) but cant even view them. the information message says - no signal

    ok im heading up (early start)try unpugging the box for a few minutes then try again,alternately press menu preferences-language settings-ok then press 1968 on your remote and see if the emulation is set to enable,this is a long shot as unlike the starview it normally dosnt switch to off.

    I had this problem a couple of weeks ago and it turned out that it was a signal problem i had in my place. I brought the box next door and it was working fine. I had to boost the signal and thats now working fine ever since i suggest trying it in someone elses house first though to make sure also seems for some strange reason to only happen on the eurovox !!!!

    ok plugged box out for half an hour and did power scan again. found all the channels this time. obviously too good to be true. all channels keep freezing and breaking up and every couple of seconds the "no signal" message keeps coming up.

    evenin all

    as i said if its possible for you to try it in a neighbours or something do so because then you will know if its a signal problem or not.

    are you using a splitter or a direct feed ?

    just been reading through some other threads and found murphym seems to be referrin to the exact same problem in this thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/287/506556
    But i havent checked the telly during the day so i dont know whether the problem is only after 6pm
