eurovox ex1000

Hi just received my new eurovox ex1000, every time i try to download software i keep getting, waiting for the response of your receiver. Any help would be grateful thanks.

 

What sort of cable are you using?

 

usb to 9 pin.

i done 1 last week using rs232 had no probs

 

I also have the female to female cable which connect with the usb & 9pin to my laptop.

 

The female to female has to be a null modem cable - are you sure it's a null modem?

 

yes, came with the box.

 

and you installed the usb drivers?

 

hi, tried loading the usb driver with disc no joy. will not load.

 

Go back into the link i gave you and install hitecks driver, that might work.

 

get yourself an rs232 null modem cable
com ports you will have problems

 

as i said early on i did mine - are you on a laptop

 

Are you using Windows XP or Vista on your pc, sometimes Vista causes problems.

Where abouts are you and who is your cable provider previous to VM eg Tw, N*l, C&W, also what symbol rate did you enter when you did a powerscan.

 

hi am in burnley i am on ntl cw 6887 i have 10 bbc ones and channel 4s i cant get sky prem and the disney channel comes up as bics 4 hope u can help me thankseso1967
