Hi guys I'm new here. Had my 1000sl a while now and all has been fine. But since sunday all the channel info has gone. As in it says the channel but not what programmes are on. Press the epg button and nothing on there either. It's a pain as I'm constantly relying on the tv guide. Any ideas to fix it without having to update my channels and lose my channel order? P.s. I dont have a lead to connect it to my pc yet. Maybe I should get one...?
Sounds silly but to rule out the obvious have you tried turning the box off at the mains for a minute. If that doesn't work carn't really think of anything else that could cause this, only other option is to factory default and powerscan, you will loose your channels if you do this or you could get the NULL modem cable and upload it to your PC do the factory default and download it back to your box that way you get to save your channels in the original order.
Thanks buddy. I've not tried the obvious of turning it off at the mains lol. Only turned it off on standby. I'll try that when I get home tonight. So it's a null modem cable I want to pick up then? 9 pin to usb
Bump. I now have the null modem cable. I have rescanned my box. and downloaded my channel list back to box so they are in the same order. Still the same problem. No program info on info button or on epg
yea i had the same problem with mine so i switch off at the mains for 5 mins or so and worked ok. now everytime i go bed i switch off at the mains and switch back on in the morning i hope it helps
Hi everyone i just got a new eurovox EX1000sl ---iv flashed it and have all the chanels tuned but only gettin the free channels---says updating channel--been like that now about 5 hours---Is there any codes i need to put in as this doesnt seen to be unscrambling---also how do i put the codes in --step by step would be good as m new
