Hi guys, ive only just joined up but have been reading these threads for months learning about the eurovox ex5000 - how to set up etc.. and have read all relevant threads and im still struggling. Basically as you know the channels went off before december and since then I just recieve the 'please wait while updating code' message. I have updated the box with the latest firmware after restoring the mox to factory default and after a power scan the only channels that work are the ordinary channels eg bbc1,2, itv etc.. I have tried it several times and cannot see what the problem is. Any help would be much appreciated..Thanks
Hi Hitech, I have similiar problem.Using in ROI. Have box since Oct. Fixed problem in Dec with the long code in Menu after pressing yellow button. Worked fine all xmas. Have a problem since the New Year. "Please wait code being updated..." is all I have. I have RTE 1 and a few other bits. I have factory reset and rescanned getting 95 channels and no picture only the message as above. When I go to menu- config - system info, I see a date July 2008. Is this the prob? Thanks in advance.
