Take out the splitter and try a factory default then rescan, If that still doesnt work try the CDF in eamos for your area linked under my picture.

    Hi all,

I got the EX5000 PVR and I´m getting 8% signal, I have installed correctly the firmware, I live in dublin 1, I have used the code 6887, in fact I have used all and nothing. My provider is N*L. I think the signal is very weak but it makes no sense because when I connect N*L box it is working properly. I´m almost sure I´m doing well but it doesn´t work... getting mad. Help please, I really would appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi folks! New to this site and is my first post. Just purchased the Eurovix pvr ex5000 box. Had a look at the flashing guide but i seem to be having problems. Its not recognising my hardware for some reason. I went through th steps to fixing this and i know its in port com 4 but i kep geting this mesg

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.my

So basically i cant flash my box because it isnt recognising a com port.

Any help would be much apreaciated as i honestly dont know where to go from here. Thanks

Thanks noelyf. Yeah a did notice that post and did follow it. It says that that its using com 4. Not quite sure about points 8 and 9 however. How do you know if its looking atthe correct port and if not how do u select the correct one. All i see is the option to download or maybe im getting mixed up here. Whats the map software program.

    Thanks very much

are you using a USB adaptor? also do you have a RS232 null modem cable, if your using a USB adaptor you should have installed the driver that came with it, if you dont have a driver their is a link in the post Noelyf gave you to download the driver, are you using XP or Vista?
