Think you're goosed mate - as only a few boxes (see previous notes) are receiving channels in Ireland.
NT* & co. moved from Nagra 1 encryption to Nagra 2 & are apparently in the process of moving to Nagra 3 so only a few boxes like Kyrptview & DBox I think are working on N2.

You need to sit it out like the rest of us or buy one of the boxes that can crack Nagra 2 (and hope that Nagra 3 isn't rolled out until you've got your money's worth).

I have lost all stations from my eurovoxmaxv and wanting to know if there is any updates in the firmware to regain the stations. I have tried the power scan to no avail.

Please read last post. No firmware updates will solve your problem. New box required for Nagra 2 and not certain yet what will happen whrn Nagra 3 is rolled out by providers.

A firmware update would solve the problem on Nagra 2 using a Eurovox. Thats if he/she is in fact in Ireland on N** cable, (more than likely is ). There has been a hint that there may be something coming but it is just a rumour as of now.

And what models IF a firmware update is released will be supported is another thing. But I don't believe in rumours, considering they are the last to the table.

There was a bad rumour about sv2 and sv3 that I don't believe a bit, I won't believe it until I see it, however the eurovox sounds true as they've had absolutely no fixes yet, I hope eurovox support all boxes instead of being like starview and killing the only one they fix lol.

Sc0user - are you saying the latest firmware on eamo's library will sort out NT* in Dublin for Eurovox Max V 2007 (original). Think I see the latest release as 30_11_08 ????
    Cheers.

Good Karl and you? Thats why I used the word "would" not has ;) The rest of my post was descriptive of that.

I never mislead and try to be as clear as possible ;)

Hello All, Looking for advice....I am an Irish Eurovox owner, thinking of selling my 9 month ols Max v 2008 to hopefully a UK Eurovox wanabee. Is there much of a demand from Uk for Max v 2008 & what is the best websites/forums for selling one on? (The plan would be to use these funds to buy a Kryptview or D.Box):)
