dubmale did you go into language settings press 1968, there is 4 things there in english another one will popup called emulation make sure its enabled
yeah done that hooter007 but still it is coming up scrambled channel, i have flashed the eurovox's before and never had any trouble, its a strange one
did you upload your channels before you downloaded the new firmware then download your channels back on if not i can send you the cdf file of my box and all you have to do is download onto your box??
yeah i uploaded my channels to my pc, then put on the new firmware but i never downloaded my channel files back onto the box, would that be the problem?????
could be but you can have mine if yours is not there check on your computer and if your (UFL_EX1000SL_090713) downloader is still there click on it and if you uploaded your channels they should be still on it check and get back to me
yeah hooted tried that, i went over it again to make sure i was doing everything right, and still the same thing... i have a krypview and that works no problem so there must just be a fault with the box itself
Do a factory reset again, then when it starts the fast scan press ok,it will save , then go to power scan start at around 250 mhz and stop around 450 mhz,on symbol rate 6.887 then ok on 8.
The title of this thread is soooooo misleading. Loaded the Eurovox MaxV fw from one of the first posts only to find this is not a fix for N** in Ireland. Ah well, never get those few minutes back....
when you say you have the same problem as dubmale what channels are you missing or are they there but scrambled?
in dire need of help, i flashed the eurovox ex5000pvr and it was working perfectly. knocked the power and went out, came back later to watch and turned it on and it went straight to stand by and wont respond to my pressing of the power button
Do a hard reset plug out the power cord for 30 minutes and then plug it in again if you still have the same problem you could disassemble the box and reset the cables inside and see if that makes a difference. Last call would be to purchase a j-tag to fix it.
well its been unplugged for 30mins now and plugged it back in, now the stand by light aint even coming on but the box is powering up because i can hear it running. any more info on resetting the cables?
Power off box There are 3 screws at the back and 2 on the sides. Remove those, take off cover and plug each cable out then back in. I have no pics so you will have to use your own judement. It may help by resetting the cables but it sounds like you may have to get a jtag
