If you have a PC using OS XP and the correct 9 pin port, (and the correct NULL MODEM lead) - then 2 minutes max, so suggest if it is your first time of flashing - then get to one or the loan of one.

I have tried turning on/off many times after selecting com and "waiting for response" message showing ...

I have used a loolback test in hyperterminal with pins 2 and 3 ... the loopback test is not a success.

Could it be a dodgy adapter??

Seriously thinking of just chucking the damn box in the bin ... to much of a headwreck ...

    Anyone any ideas?

EXE. is fine, Just means executioner + Firmware is built-in
When your com-port settings are right + USB driver is installed properly
you won't find an easier box to flash. When loader is looking for com-
    port, you could try powering-off P.C.+ re-boot.
Other option; Use Desktop or old L/top with 9-pin port & use Null-Modem
    cable only.

    Hi all
New to here and having an issue with my 7000 hd ,
Downloaded the latest nag fix , changed the file to flash.tbn
switched box off and on but during reboot , the plug was pulled and lost power.
Now when I put the box on the front screen just says now booting...
after that goes blank , then nothing on tv screen or front of box??

Anyone any ideas what I've done here apart from being an idiot :-(

Is there any other files apart from the firmware I can download
    Help....

Hi all .. Seriously cracking up. I have a Eurovox Max red, I have never updated anything on it and I'm now trying to upload new firmware for nagra 2 fix for n*l Ireland. I took advice and bought null modem cable + USB adaptor. I've download win rar + new firmware(red) and I then proceed to try up date and I get as far as waiting for response from receiver ..,... I'm cracking up..., can anyone help ???

There is no update for the eurovox max red nag 2, the fixes on page 1 are for the ex1000, ex5000 ex5100 and the ex7000hd.
