yep ya got it in one, did someone stick superglue to yer caps lock button? lol For those who havent see this http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-59/only_boxs_working_in_ireland_hints_and_tips-updated-782583/ it covers all boxs including what Hiteck has on the first page
Menu--USER installation SCROLL down thru FREQ. listings until you have checked all 13/14 If 150,000Mhz is not on list follow prompts to add manually When added tick 150,000 + hit blue (man.scan) + check missing chls. If still absent go to User INSTALLATION + Hit red (update chls).
Thanks Mate. That worked great. I have 13 Transponders now. Do you have a list of all transponders to see what one I am missing out of the 14? or a Eurovox cdf file.
You probably have them all. I'm not in Dublin area so wasn't sure of no.of active transponders in your area i.e. 13/14 What you should do now is sort out your FAV. lists + save CHl. data on desktop. When sure chl.data is saved do POWER-SCAN 200- 600Mhz When done add in 150Mhz manually, now look in User INST. + see are there any new transponders found. Download VOXER(ch. editor) + open CHL. data file with voxer. Now compare Chl.data file to chls. now on eurovox. Any new chls. found by POWER-SCAN can be manually added to CHL.data file in VOXER. Be sure to save any changes to CHL.data in VOXER. When complete Download chl. data file to eurovox. Try Eomo's for VOXER, P.M. me if you can't find it.
Nice one Mickah I prefer to let novice scan for chls. + arrange his/her own fav.lists, save data, + use VOXER to edit chl. lists to own personal choices. If UPC are unable(for technical or financial reasons)to roll out N3 the main weapon remaing in their armoury is to change transponder freqs. This fu**ed up a lot of people in the past. If punters have VOXER they can scan box & add new freqs. manually to T.P.lists. But if they just want to watch TV(end of story) CDF files are straight from heaven. Keep the faith.
Yea but if they just keep changing the freq, a few press's of buttons on the remote to scan for the new freq and bob's your uncle, back in action
I have a Eurovox Max V 2008 Black box working on Ch&rus in North Co Dublin.... anyone know how I can get ESPN ? and Liverpool FC TV ? thanks a lot lads.
Yea but if they just keep changing the freq, a few press's of buttons on the remote to scan for the new freq and bob's your uncle, back in action
Depends which box you're using, + if you know as much as you think you know conventional transponder freqs. are spaced in steps of 8 or multiples of 8. Start power-scan at 290Mhz to 600Mhz you will pick up 12 T.P.'s.You then have to manually add T.P.150Mhz + manual scan. If you power-scan from 150Mhz you pick up T.P.150Mhz only. 150+8+8+8+8 etc. falls on 286 294 302 etc.,scan will miss all active T.P.'s. 2nd OPTION; DEEP SCAN goes in single steps all thru, but will have many duplicated, necessitating the 70yr old gadget wizard to scroll thru list + delete unwanted chls. 3rd OPTION; (recommended for O.A.P.'s) Go to user installation, pin no.0000 or try 19**(last time dublin won all-Ireland). Manually enter values for 13 T.P.'s +manual scan each. When c/plete(if you're still alive) go to ch.edit + arrange all 8 fav groups, using colour prompts on screen, don't forget to hit fav key to change cat title of colour prompts. If you can't manage it ask tutor at active retired comp.class next week. If you(guitar 57) find this post "off key", you may edit & re-post. I'm sure Mickah would read thru it for you to make sure all i's are dotted + t's are crossed. Sometimes you MENSA members with I.Q.'s of 10,000 suffer with illiteracy problems. Talk to you later.
Easiest way is to d/load VOXER + use it to edit cdf file The DnUpman edit function on EUROVOX loader died with 05/12/08 fix but voxer is very similiar. Look in Eamo's; If not D.K.--d/loads--eurovox--tools
Apologies for quoting myself, but hopefully it will make things easier for others who are searching for the same answer. Thanks to the other posters (MICKAH, etc) part of my question was answered, if you want to edit an existing CDF, then this Voxer program works like a charm. Thanks, Slick2097.
Please help, I really am clueless!! When I hit the download button of the UFL I get a pop up box that flickers between COM 1 & COM 4. Followed the guide as best I can but totally lost now! I'm using a USB adaptor / Null modem cable from a laptop.
