Sorry for this but can anyone tell me on where i can find a solution to my EX7000 HD which is always rebooting. I have the latest firmware but the unit is always shutting down when it's scanning after 2 to 5 minutes and then turning on again. I bought this to MY Cable Box. Is there any fix to my unit so my grandson can watch Mickeymouse already.

can you please help me got my eurovox 1000sl installed it but most channels scrambled, i've tried following your help but i must be really slow. i live in uk ex-telewest area

 

Cant really make it any easier than this,

Press Menu then this will show,



Press OK on the language settings you will then see a box like this with 4 columns.



Now type in your remote 1968 fairly quickly making sure you are within range, you will then notice a new column appear at the bottom called emulation, make sure it is set to enable,



Once you have set it to enable make sure you save and exit (blue button), it should now be working.

I didn't get any response to my problem which i think it's hopeless so If anyone can give me on how to put the FTA firmware back to my Eurovox ex7000, it will be appreciated so i can return the unit since i don't know what to do. By the way i bought this to mycablebox.co.uk.

No need to export it. There are plenty of CHO*US cable areas in EIRE
where all older(n1) boxes will work.

When i try to update firmware on my eurovox ex1000 sl it gets to about 3% then crashes, ive tried changing the drivers for the rs232 cable however it still decides to stop. Ive tried to read everywhere but i cant get any information, im starting to think mine may be a clone however it hasn't bricked yet

 

hello all, can anyone help. i am trying to update firmware on a ex7000 using rs232 as i have no usb. when i download latest firmware it is a tbn file which wont open, says unknown format. any ideas appreciated.

 

Why have you no USB? - But if you want to use the NUL MODEM lead to flash, then go back in to Eamo's FTA Library and download the Null Modem Loader_CDF editor and use that.

Any luck with your ex7000 problem coz i might have the same problem. My ex7000 is always rebooting. Can you please let me know what have you done to fix yours.

Sorry for the annoyance but i'm a bit problematic for my ex7000 as i bought this for 315 euros to mycablebox.co.uk. It always rebooting so i can't do a scan and I had the lattest firmware. Is it the same procedure as the one you gave above to solve my ex7000.
