    hi my mate lives in swords i gave her my eurovox works fine just the dinsey stations not coming in anyone any idea please

    menu config clear data then do a new scan with no splitters on the incoming cable

    are they being picked up on the scan and not working or are they not even being picked up when u scan

    Hi all
    Could someone please point me in the direction of the 'How to tell a clone' pages - I'm pretty sure they are in this thread but it has now got so big it would take a pretty sizeable chunk out of someon's life to plough through it all!!
    Also can someone tell me if the EX1000SL has been cloned and if so what are the ways to spot it.

    Thanks m8 - i totally missed it first time round - i've just had a quick look and unfortunately can't find anything relevant to EX1000SL model (most of information was posted last year and relates to older models) so can anyone tell me if EX1000 has been cloned? cheers

    cheers m8 thats what i wanted to know - now can anyone tell me what firmware the clone ex1000 takes, is it the same as the genuine one?

    there is no clone safe firmware for that box only the early firmware before the n2 released one

    Thanks for the advice - i'm looking for a couple of boxes and i had spotted a couple which seemed a bit on the cheap side so i was wondering if they were clones what difficulties i might have with them if i bought them - you've given me the answer so i think i'll just look out for genuine ones for now.

    look into the box silver heat sink is a dead give away of a clone box

    i bought 4 of the eurovoxes different models i opened my 5000pvr to find the metal piece as shown i was guarenteed it was not a clone put all fhe frimware onto it and it worked how can i be sure its a clone and will the latest firmware work in dublin thanks to all for all the ongoing support
