Eurovox flashing step by step.

You need to make sure 9-pin is assigned to com-port 1,2,3,or 4 on your P.C.
Then come back here with exact model of eurovox & someone will advise what fix to use.
Would also help to post your general location.

 

hi, can anyone tell me if their is new firmware coming out for eurovox blue? channels gone in last couple of days and there doesnt appear to be any new firmware about.Hope this is not the end. I live in north west england, maybe its now the same as N IRELAND!!!!!!!

 

i too live in northwest and have lost loads of channels in the last week inc espn :-(

 

just done another scan and channels have come back, scaned a number of times last week but just couldnt pick them up weird.

 

You must be joking, do you know how old that box is. You could put it in antiques roadshow.
There are boxes came on market summer 2009 & they can't hack Nagra 3.
Try a fac. reset & re-scan chls. & if nagra 3 has come your goosed.
Don't rush into buying a box at moment, there's only 1 box PUBLICLY on N3 working but there will be others & probably better options.

 

Is that it then for the Eurovox, lost most channels except 1-5 and all Sky Sports for some strange reason (still have those).

All other channels say please insert smart card.

If thats it, then it was great while it lasted.

thats cause they are moving chans and freqs in prep for Nagra 3, read the nagra 3 thread for updates on areas gone or moving to Nagra 3, there is no firmware for any boxs, so when its gone, its gone

 

no boxs working on Nagra 3 directly, the SV6 is working in Ireland, but thats a lan cable box using the net to unscramble chans, like Card share, its not available in the UK yet

 

Once you are left with 1-5 and Sky sports its only a matter of days (about 4) - watch each game like its your last - really enjoy it, for free.

 

Am new to all this just wondering. Isnt there any updates or anythin for the eurovox max v to stop it from going off ? And is there any new boxes that you can get that still have every channel still working on it ? Thanks in advance

 

read the nagra 3 thread, then you will have a better idea of whats happening and no, the Max V wont have a fix nor will other boxs out there be fixed,

no boxes will work again in Ireland as they have moved on to Nagra 3 which has not been cracked.

and even if someone does do something with it older boxes will not be fixed it will be new boxes from now on as there is nobody making fixes for any of the boxes now Recycle bin im afraid

 

dosnt look that way ,wel all have to upgrade our old boxes

 

Hey guys, I'm currently in N. Ireland, but my Eurovox Max V is still working.
I lost ESPN and Sky Sports though, their very distorted when I try to view them.
