    Read page 1, the firmware is there for the eurovox for Ireland and UK.

    Yes but you need patients for it to update, keep changing the channels then leave it for 5 mins the change again.

    BTW wrong thread mate.

    Put it on Sky 2, set default key and when i exit it went data being updated for a couple of secs and came on, do you think the flash worked or was it because i manually entered the codes earlier.

    i will try using xp and a pc with serial port
    am i using the right firmware its the auto sort maxv 08 ?

    hi all does the signal boost make much difference to max v and is it worth downloading. in west of ireland.

    Yes it is the correct one for The Box, some people are finding that different channels update quicker, some say Sky 2 other's say Disney channel. it's trial and error at the minute but you are fine.

    hi lads, it's good to hear that the fixes are working fine.. the issue i'm having is.. that i cannot even download them.. i have tried firefox and IE to no avail.. I'm trying to download fix for EX 5000 PVR and as i say.. it's only loading the page then to tell me that there is problem with my connection.. however every other web site and apps work fine... could anyone help me with this or post different link... or maybe sent an email...

    great job senior members much appreciated

    good evening all .
    just a quick question
    since updating my eurovox max i come home from work every night and the box is frozen with the message "please insert smart card "
    i change channel and message changes to "please wait codes updating"
    this takes about 10 mins then all back working
    why is this ? is it because the box is on one channel for 10 hrs or so it never happens when i'm flicking channels etc
    anybody else have this problem or any thoughts ?

    is the firmware from the 5-12-08 for the eurovox max-v the latest because my box was workin fine untill today please help

    No not with the Max V, turn it off at the mains when you go out and it will probably be fine.

    just seems strange that i can be out all weekend come back on a sunday and the box is ok yet during the week its frozen and slow to update the codes. btw a huge thankyou to all the senior guys on here without you all, we would be LOST
