Eurovox flashing step by step.

Gazza, just to update you....I left it on Sky Sports 1 for about 10min and the channels came in....maybe I just needed to have a bit of patience.

hey guys updated the eurovox ex1000sl with the latest software (1/12/2008 it comes up version 2.00 though??) and it ain't auto rolling, does anyone know how to get the menu so I can manually put the codes in for the time being?

 

Isn't that just MENU | Yellow Button?

hey everyone i dont know if im in the right forum but i have a eurovox ex5000 pvr bought the hardrive for it to record but when i record on it i cannot change the channel to watch something else unless im rocording r*e or one of them then i can watch the normal not premium channels anyone know how i can fix this thanks

 

Tried that and all it does is give me an emulation menu that only has 2 option enable/disable?

 

are you sure the flash was successful

 

Menu, OK on Language, type 1968, and then type 1968 again, and pull to the left and you will see what you want.

 

you're a gent, any reason as to why the autoroll didn't work? (chorus ireland fyi) updated it with the "fix" but it hasn't worked

 

Well it should have worked to be honest, but why you have the neccessary, then why not go back in and press yellow button (Default Key) exit out and see what happens, it might work then.

I don't think you can. There is only one in feed/tuner, therefore you can only watch the channel you are recording.

mine started scanning immediatley after the update from 100 up to 800 but I noticed it only started to find channels around 340 up to 440. TRy a full power scan from 100 to 800 just to be sure and make sure the the symbol rate is 6.875

 

Hi Guy's I'm going to be flashing a mates Eurovox EX 1000sl in awhile as he just rang me but I never flashed one before so still a little sketchy on some of the instructions.

I've read the guide and I plan on uploading the channel dump to my pc and then back to the box. Then when I load the channel dump back on do I still have to scan for the channels and do I have to turn the key emu on too ?
I'm in Ireland n*l

In a word NO, if you correctly upload the CDF and then download it after flashing, and the Emulation Key is on by default, but if you want to check, Menu, OK on Language, type 1968 and you will see it, you do not need to have EMM Capture enabled, also you must flash it with the latest UK fix, doesn't matter where you are, that is what you need okay. Good luck
