does it show on the screen that the volume is up or down?

 

ya it shows the volume bar going up and down but makes no difference.

Have to use the tv remote

Does anyone have any suggestions how i can stop channel interference .This is only happening on a few channels namely setanta ireland and utv and vh1 classic.Im unsure whether or not whether to do a factory reset in case i lose evetything as i dont have cables to reflash my eurovox ex1000sl.Any suggestions would be appreciated

My eurovox tx stop showing Nat geo channel suddenly. Is anyone experience same problem. I have done factory reset and rescanned all channel several times but no luck. thanks

 

Evening friends, hope you've all had a pleasant weekend.

I have a Eurovox 5000 PVR. Just wondering if anyone knows frequency for tonights WWE Royal Rumble. Starts at 1am and the preview shows normally start on Saturday.

I thought frequency was 435000 but I'm not getting anything there.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

If you have had the PPV channel on that frequency then it will be still there, have you tried a Manual Scan on that Frequency, it does drift in between events broadcast.

 

Cheers Malci. The last 3-4 ppv shows have been on 435000 so thought it would be on there again. I'll try the manual scan and see what happens.

Then you will get it there, for instance mine is/was CH10 507.00 nothing showing, done a manual scan on that frequency and it is back all be it CH11 but still 507.00. So don't forget to check after the scan okay, it will be around and is showing the trailer at the minute.

Very nice of you to say asad786 although I only wrote the tutorial thanks to learning from the folk on here, without the authors of the firmware the tut wouldn't be worth a look. Glad your still up and running mate and thanks once again for your appreciation.

 

hi i've got eurovox maxV, i followed this guide step by step last night but after flashing, the system settings stayed the same, my question is - are the system settings supposed to change after flashing??? i used an xp machine to update with a usb to serial convertor, i tried this a couple of weeks back with a vista machine and it looked like it had flashed but after a power scan and full system scan, no joy, so it looks like the same happened again, any input would be much appreicated, i starting to lose my patience with this box!!!!!

Plug the box back in do a power-scan and wait for it to update.

 

i dont know if it has updated, which is why i was asking about the system settings, it won't tune any channels, i'm using a nikkai usb to serial convertor, attached to the serial cable which comes with the maxV

when i run the application the progam says its found version 2.00 the maxV display starts flashing "dnld" and after its complete i hit exit.

after a power scan i get a blank page no channels

ive tried different n*l codes not sure how up to date they are

 

When you press Menu, installation does it have an option to deep-scan if YES then it has updated, you then need to go to page 1 of this thread and read through the scanning tutorial which will show you how to power-scan your channels back in.

Where abouts are you and what symbol rate have you been using to scan for channels.

 

any chance someone could help been reading all about starview, eurovox and so on, and im completly lost as to which one to go for and even what site to get one from, if anybody could point me in the right direction it would be great , also please could you give me a idiots guide as to what to do once i have purchased the box of choice, do i need to buy extra cables or any other things to make it work or for connecting to a computer because i have read on here about you need to put firmware on the box
so please help with
1.what box to go with
2. where is the best place to get it and how much
3.what other cables or equipment do i need
4.how do i update or set it up from scratch
