    Hi

I have recently got the EX5100 PVR. I just wanted to know if there is only the one firmware which I have already seen. Just wanted to make sure. I also want to copy the same channels I have on my Max V to my EX5000. Is this possible and if so how?

    Thanks.

There are two firmwares but obviously the last one was just a patch to enable AU. If you box AUs then you have the patch.

Use voxer or dnumpman to load CDFs from one box to another. I use the UFL itself but others have reported problems with this method.

    Thanks Scouser.

Do you reckon I should follow the 002 guide in the Documentation folder or How to change the Eurovox channel listing with DnUpMan. (Or which one should I follow. Thanks

Dont know were you're located, I'm in North Cheshire, ITV2 used to be on frequency 290.000, it's now moved to 426.000.

If you do a Channel Update as I did, it should re-appear at the end of your chanel list

Has anyone got a cdf file for the Southampton area??

My son is shortly moving down there, and I was hoping to upload the correct file for him to his Max V before he goes, save all the hassle setting it up himself.

Was there originally only one provider for that area, or is it like here, mix of TWest/C&W/Vegan?

Any help would be appreciated ta

    My son's just moved to Southampton, he's got a Max V 2008.

He's done a Factory restore etc, got most of channels except Sly Sports 1, it comes up as TV Channel 4, the EPG data is there but no sound or picture.

Any ideas folks??? Or anyone know what frequency SS1 is on in that area??

I have a cloned EuroVox V-max, is there a fix availible for this or is that it gone and I'll have to buy a new box?

I have tried searching through this thread for another post similar but didnt find one so hope this isn't a multipost...

There is no clone Firmware for the Eurovox Max V, what state is your box in, is it dead or what? When did you last flash it and what with.

Ye, it's dead, as in got no channels anymore.

I bought it about 6-8 months ago already flashed.

When you say "got no channels anymore" is there no sign of life on the LED front of box, or have you only lost the channels?

Make sure that you have a live Cable Feed going into the RF socket first, also make sure that your subbed box is working as when it say's "No Signal" it means exactly that. The box is not dead, it might just need a Factory Default and Powerscan.
