Im in North Dublin NTL, all movies, dirtys and sports (most importantly) are going. still got the ould midnight hot on FTV, but jaysus, it could be better haha :)

just like to say thanks to all the lads who develop this stuff- if ye cant fix it, you've go me free tv for the past year or so, so thanks, gentlemen all.

Hopefully though, we'll get to screw the corporate scumbags for a little while longer!

Likewise I would like to thank everybody on here. I have had free TV since January last year. Anytime there was a problem with firmware or anything else I found the support here excellent. Hopefully the tech boys can get on top of this latest obstacle. If not thanks for everything anyway.

You will find the latest Firmware for the Eurovox Max V in Eamo's FTA library at the bottom of my post, just go into the folder marked Eurovox. Alternatively you can go to the 1st page of this thread and get the latest courtesy of HiTeck, this is the Latest with Autosort feature >>>>>>>>>>>

Lads can anyone help me, im just back from town i had to buy a Male to USB connection to go into the Female 9pin to Female 9pin.

as i have to flash on the laptop.

when i ran the UFL MaxV v2.1 exe and clicked on Upload and then start it just says COM3 on the screen.

the progress bar hasnt even started yet.

i went into Device Manager on Windows Vista it doesnt even say COM ports any where in here, anyone got any ideas...gone through a lot of trouble trying to just flash this.

i normally flash this on the desktop were i judt need to use the 9pin null modem cable but the DESKTOP crashed, blue screen when i turn it on now :(

any help with flashing on my laptop would be greatly received.

    thanks
    Steve

your best bet would be to do it on a pc with xp,if you had used the search facility you would have seen numerous posts regarding issues with flashing on vista.
