I just changed the keys form the language settings for 5c01 and i'm doing a scan now. It found about 23 frequencies and has found 15 channels 9all tvch ones) so far and it's 11/23 so far.
I changed the settings in the secret menu to my brothers and i found 49 frequencies. did a deep scan and two updates and it found a few channels but none are working. I've just changed the key settings for NTL (with info taken from the bigmaq tool bar) and i'm running another deep scan. Can anyone tell me the keys which should work? or are mine correct?
Right important update I just ran a scan and it found a few channels. I left it on the bad signal screen for a bit and i managed to get a picture (for about .5 of a second). it went off again and then it came on. I just ran another update and the epg is getting filled (a few sports sky sports x mutv and at the races [displayed as tvch4]) I have a few more channels listed now too such as itv 1 and ideal world. none of the channels are connecting though again. not even like before. I'm deffo getting closer.
I just manually added the frequencies from the other day and ran an update. It found over 300 channels and 80 stations Some channels work some don't. We're finnaly there. Now how can I improve my signal / get more channels (still no sports and the signal is really bad on most channels).
I've got it working!!!! It turns out that my cable was just loose. I messed around with it for a few minutes and now I have a super strong signal. I did an update and it found loads of channels. Just doing a power scan now to see if I can get some more channels (sky sports wasn't there and only setanta 2). If this doesn't ge tthem I may use the cdf I don't know. I'm scared to move it now anyway thanks again Sc0user and Hiteck, I think the problem was a poor connection and the area keys were wrong / out of date. Anyway to the both of you
Long time since I posted. So I fixed that problem and get a load of channels, but i'm still not getting sky sports and a few others. Come novevember when the digital switch over happens will I then be able to get sky sports or am I always going to be without them?
