try it in a different room or one of your neighbours
    Sounds exactly like bad signal

try it in a neighbours, It sounds exactly like bad signal, If it works in your neighbours you know its to do with the signal in your house, if thats the case I'd buy a cheapo booster from argos and try that, reason I suggest Argos is they will take it back no questions asked if it doesnt work out

Just remembered some of the Eurovox's have a booster option in the user setup, not sure if the ex5000 has as I've never used one but i'd have a look into it

The very last firmware revision will have the booster option for the Ex5000.

But I would be careful as the last revision is also a clone killer ;)

I had the same problem as this. Kept getting worse and worse and now the box doesnt pick up any channels. Tried my box at my mates house - worked fine. Tried my mates box at my house - same problem. So I know its not a problem with the box. Tried using different cables and still no luck. (Im in Newcastle and with t*l*west/V*rgin)
