Anyone out there that can assist me please ? Thought I had a genuine 2006 Euorvox Max blue box as I have flashed it before with software for genuine boxes and had always worked. Last night box did not work at all, had a blank screen on the TV and I got '4400' on the LED screen on the front of the box when I turned on the box with the remote from the stand-by position. Did some more research to find out my genuine box is in fact a clone ! So flashed it with the clone software using the DnUpMan application. Result the same. Have I killed the box ?
I have the old software on my box at the min. Put new software on it same thing happened and then put the old software on back on. So dont know if it will work with the new but sure it will. Cn let us know? When u flash the box take scart out put an rf feed cable into the box and then have another rf cable coming out of the tv/vcr connection to the tv. Scan the tv and you will find a pin page of the box. Put 1004 in as the pin. Change the settings to rgb to use scart connection again. Have to put 1004 in as the pin every time turn the power off at the box.
Many thanks but still no joy. Re-flashed the box with the up-to-date clone software while the RF cable going from the box to the TV and with the video cable linking the box to the TV. Scanned the TV channel but cannot get the pin page on the TV
use the old software see what happens. I think i have clone box and used old software. Does the lock light come on when u press 1004? Have you got the rf aerial feed going into the box then another rf coming ouut of tv/vcr connection to the tv? Auto scan the tv on basic channels not the scart channels that pin page should be only page to appear.
Thanks Biscuit23 I will have to get another rf cable with a female & male connection tonight to link the box to the tv and then retry tomorrow. Will let you know if it works.
No prob. Put the new software on mine yesterday but had to rescan the tv this morning to find the digi box. I factory reseted and then power scan twice to getthe stations back up 2day. U can then change to the scart settings again 2day. Plus the text language is weird so can see but still have the stations. Let me if u have a problem with your language settings?
Good news Biscuit. I have got the channels back. Language seems to be mainly english. Many, many sincere thanks for the invaluable information. Only fly in the bottle is that the blue channel information box that appears at the bottom of the screen when you change channel takes about 1-2 minutes to dissapear. Still better than not working at all !
I had the same problem with flashing the box with normal software rather than the clone, did all the rf stuff and now is back, however i have to enter a pin 1004 everytime the box is turned on and also i am unable to change my time settings on the box for the epg as every time i go into the time settings option the box restarts, is there any way around this? all the channels and everything else works, just epg problem? thanks
think have do this from now on because the box is locked what ever they have done. Didnt have to do this 2day. Changed the parental lock. try this see what happens.
Hi Biscuit, Where is the osd time setting menu please ? Tried to look under time settings but no luck. Have same problem as AK1 in that when I try to even go into the time settings the bloomin box just shuts down -- strange !
