eurovox max blue please help !!!

    can any one help ?

    i have a euro-vox max (blue) i reflashed it a while ago and all was fine untill i have come to rescan again for sky ones return and all thought when i flash it, it says sucessfull but wont let me power scan or auto scan !!! then the front of the box flashs up PERR ??????

    strange any one have any ideas or any new firm ware avalable ????

    are you saying you flashed it again?if so with what,and are you sure you havn't got a clone,look in eamos library under my pic(eurovox folder)for all the info you'll need.

    I have the same problem. The firmware is up to date and not a clone. Everything was working fine until I did an power scan yesterday to receive the new channels. It says no transponder available, I have checked the symbol rate is correct and frequencies. It starts to do the scan then after a few minutes the screen goes blank and a message on the box appears PERR, then goes to channel 0000. Message on screen says no channel available. Any help would be appreciated.

    Iv'e seen a few problem's with peaa displayed on the screen but not perr,have you tryed this firmware max blue firmware if that dosn't work check the c14 capacitator on the box [​IMG]

    I have tried to reflash the software but there is a problem, I am getting a message saying waiting for response from receiver.

    You could try a hard boot, press download and when it says "Waiting for response etc." disconnect power from the box and then re-apply, i.e. plug out and then back in.

    Thanks for the advice, nothing has happened it still says waiting for response from receiver.

    Anyone any ideas?

    what does the peaa mean ?? it could be that as it block letters on the box ???

    I am not familiar with the Eurovox boxes, if you wait till Karl or Hiteck nose in I am sure they will point you in the right direction!! meanwhile if you do a search at the top of the page
    (like i did) you might find what your looking for!!

    Mine can't be a clone as it has been working fine with the new firmware I installed months ago. This problem only appeared Thursday when I updated the channels.

    thats what happens with clones the firmware will work ok for a while,look in herefor more info

    look in here to see if you have a clone,all other clone safe firmware and dnupman loader can be found in eamos library as well

    I have tried to install the clone firmware but I am getting the same message "waiting for response from receiver"

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    have you made sure you have a clone?don't try and load the irmware if your not sure,as regards the "waiting for response"yuo may need to try another cable.

    i just factory reseted mine and it works fine now !!
