Eurovox Max problem

    Hey, yea i just updated the eurobox 2008 vmax but i didnt save my channels. I hav tried scanning them back in a number of times but nothing is happening!!! Any ideas, i cant really remember the settings i put in last time, live in kildare and am using n*l. Any help wud be great, im a bit of a noob at the updating the box.

    Does any one know which firmware to use for the box below.

    I have a Eurovox Max
    model DVB XC box
    AW ver 1.0ssc4 0ct 20 2006
    HW ver 2.0 Oct 20 2006
    Bootstrap v001

    The eurovox Max is a grey and black box,
    It came packaged in a in a Blue box. Is this what determins the firmware?
    eg is the firmware ulf max blue 10.04.08

    Any comments welcome, Thanks in advance!

    Due to recent network changes in THE UK / IRLEAND - all boxes stopped working from April 8th 2008
    This is the first time this has happened in 14 months.

    New files are now required for your box.

    Choose the correct link for your type of box below.
    Basic computer skills are required including downloading, unzipping, file & computer mangement skills

    WARNING - Incorrect flashing can damage your unit beyond repair and invalidate your exisiting warranty.
    WARNING - Only do this on official units - do not use on clones!

    well folks, its all good so far. reflashed my box, using a null modem cable with an rs232 to usb converter on it. flash work fine first time. An codes updated in 2 mins. Yeeeee haaaaaaaa.

    Can anyone help.i have a 2006 box,worked superbly until 2 days ago.now no channels,tried power scan,but just says please wait updating codes.
    Edinburgh Area.

    I am now back up & running thanks to your bluebox update. Only problem now is that I have a queue of my neighbor’s at the front door wanting me to show them how.

    synseal. My understanding of the unified flash loader is that it will dtect your box and install the correct version. I have no way of identifying your box other than this page which says your box is a blue box ( be sure it is not a clone as software is known to kill clones )

    please don't link the old files for the red box. People will already be using that. Copying verbatim from other pages and posting here won't help unless you understand the info you are pasting.

    Hi can anyone help me my eurovox man v box gone off the same as everyone else's, can anyone tell me wa firmware to download and flash my box with, my system information is as followed.

    Model DVB-XC BOX V TDA
    s/w ver 1.0 STC4 OCT 29 2007
    h/w ver 2.0T K5
    bootstrap V001
    s/w Build KURO

    Please help.

    Dunno how do u know if its red or blue. Sorry am new at all of this.
