Eurovox Max problem

Hey Robocop,
im new to updating firmware or flashing boxes.

i hear there is a new frmware for the black Eurovox MV2008

Is there anything i need to be carefull about when flashing?

Do i need to check if i have a clone box or a new box?
How do i do this.

i want to update to the latest firmware if theres one there for fixing the Autoroll?

Is there a loading program to run before you run the frmware application.

If you have the correct Software then you will have no issues .
run the program and select Download. The process is automated and will update the firmware on your box. The process takes about 5 minutes.
After this, just set up your box again.
Look for the software here:

i.e do i power off the box connect it to the PC power it on and run the program, im kind of lost then when i plug it back in to the t.v

do i do a powerscan, or what do i do.

N*Hell gone again, Any1 got the new codes??

 

ypu have to live with it, any fixes you read are only temp & will go again when you power off the box, its a bug in the NTHELL time signal

 

hi Steveirl here is a guide to flashing your eurovox: you will need the software for your box you can get it off the bigMaq toolbar it's called KURO 3
WHAT TO DO:

-Take power cord out of the Eurovox.
-Connect your Eurovox to your Computer using Serial port / adaptor and RS232 Cable.
-Plug power cord into the Eurovox and put it into standby.
-Unzip the firmware download for your model.
-Open the .exe file within the unzipped folder.
-Click the UPLOAD button to save your current channel data.
-Select a place to store your channel data. (only temporary)
-Once this process is complete, you should hit the download button in the center of the window. (not channel data)
-This process should take around 150 seconds (2-3 minutes)
-When complete, you should click the download button on the channel data section.
-This will quickly put all of your channels back onto the box.
-When Complete, pull the power cord from the box.
-Disconnect your computer from the eurovox.
-Insert Power Cord into the eurovox.
-Press the power button on the remote or box itself.
***CONGRATULATIONS***
Your eurovox should now be re-flashed and should survive.

can anybody please suply me with a link for some firmware i can download so my box will automatically update the new codes when ntl decide to change them again

can anyone confirm if the new filmware dose not work for chorus.i downloaded the software and before i did so everything was working fine by maually inputting codes.now after putting on software im back to please wait.im hoping its just a combination of software not working for chorus and a case of bad timing ie. keys being rolled. can anyone confirm about chorus and software?

can anyone help, when I try to put the codes in, the yellow button does not do any thing, I hit menu, but yellow button does nothing and I've tried another controller, does anyone have any ideas or is there another way into the codes.

I recommend everyone having problems finding new codes/missing channels etc do the update as suggested by crezza79 on page 109, posted at 15:20.

It contains links for a full set of instructions on exactly what to do and how to do it!!!

Sorry i must correct you the fix is not perfect Ch***s still isn't beat they cut it off again during the match today just to p*** people off so although things are looking good for alot of people its not perfect yet although im jus hoping its a prob in the programming - as its wrking everywhere else
