Im in Swords Co Dublin, unfortuntely i dont no the symble rate as Fergus set the box up for me.

My provider id is 53 01 is this it ?

the provider and Key 00 and Key 01 are now blank after i flashed to the latest frmware.

should i still do a factor reset ?

Hello all, quick question, done the update and it auto updated after 5 or 10 min on Sky sports.. happy days. But there has been one problem I have always had. The fecking time! its always off, if it the correct time in the system time, then the menu's are all off. If the time is a hour wrong, then it is all off by a hour but the right shows are showing up at that time. Is there way around this?

 

listen lads, it's time to do a sanity check as we call it in the electronics field, Steveirl seems to have done everything right else he would not be getting the "updating please wait" screen, the key menu will be blank & thats ok because the box takes time to sniff the codes again, this can take quite some time, I have been loading this new firmware for 3 days now to many boxes & some update in 30secs & others take up to 10mins,if your channels are all still there it will update no need to rescan.

 

this is another question which was covered earlier today & many times before on this forum,...you'll have to search through the posts

I've seen posts on this before, and from what I can gather it's not the box it's your cable supplier, i.e Nthell that causes this issue, i've updated the time on my box so many times now that it stll goes on the blink every few weeks...

 

im worse off now i think, scanned all channels.

it found channels mixed them all up again but still said Please Wait Code being updated,

im now doing another full scan.

It will take a while alright but hopefully everything will be ok after it's done, I cant believe you had so much hassle with your box I will stay on line till you get it running and maybe some of the other guys will aswell......... well what you think guys.. can we try to help Steveirl?????????

 

about 10~12mins, this time have patents & let it update, what symbol rate did you use ?

 

i used 6875 and it completed and it still says Pleas wait updating codes....but does nothing that was 10 mins ago..!!

If i go to User Installation

i see 0001 274.000MHZ Symbol rate 6.875 Modulator QAM64
and this goes all the way down.

If i go into Menu and press Yellow button the Provider ID is blank and so is KEY 00 and KEY 01

how do i know that the latest flash worked for kuro 3 ?

i believe i entered them before with 6.875 freq and after the scan it went back to screen Please Wait Updating ?

If all else fails try entering the codes manually

Im on Nthell so I dont know if these will work for you

Crezza, can i just ask because ive looked back about 15 pages and cant find an answer. How do you get the time and menu to read the same, also on some of the channels i get a narrater talking over the film etc and it pisses me off, how do i stop this pls xx
