Eurovox Max problem

    hi Lenny123,

    The thing is I dont have the old frmware software that came on the box !

    Is there any chance i can get this from somewhere,

    also when u flash a box should it tell u in the system info screen
    that u updated to a later ver ?

    Goto Control Panel - device manager - Ports (com & Lpt) simply click on ports for a list of coms and chose one i use com 3 even thought it is in use already just accept the change next time you run the firmware it will search and find your box

    hi lenny123 to make sure you get all your channels the number below the Symbol rate must be 8 any thing less and it wont find all the transponders well this is 8 for Ch***s so i think just re scan and change this figure until you get the lot

    it's the step rate between freq ie:
    8,16,24,32 each of these numbers step up by 8 as the does the scanning
    process when a step rate of 8 is specified.

    Hi does anyone know if the new software for the eurovox max is out and if so does it work I am only new to this so sorry for my ignorance Ive a pain in my boll?x changing codes everyday.Thanks

    yes it out, all over this very forum in fact, read the forum rules,..newcomers are required to search before adding to the hundreds of posts asking the same questions over & over.

    To use the adapter you will have to install the software driver provided on Disc with the adapter.

    The Software Drivers can also be downloaded from this link
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/media/ZP43W_Drivers.zip

    Make sure to connect the device prior to installing the drivers. This will cause windows to detect it & run the Windows found new hardware wizard. When this happens, cancel the wizard & insert the disc that came with the adapter & run the setup file.

    Once you install the device drivers you will need to identify which COMM Port the device was assigned in order to choose the correct COMM Port in the stblink v5.20 software used to interact with the Replay Lite.

    To check which port your device is on, do the following.

    Click START
    Right Click My Computer
    Choose MANAGE
    Click on DEVICE MANAGER (in the left hand pane)
    In the right hand pane of the resulting window, click on the little plus sign (+) beside the Ports (COM & LPT) entry

    You should now see the device listed as "Prolific USB-To-Serial Comm Port ( ) The Comm Port number for your device will be displayed between the 2 brackets next to the entry. ( )

    Make sure to choose that COMM Port number in the stblink software so as it will communicate with the Replay Lite Box or whatever box you have.

    HI Everyone. First time posting here! I've been reading the forum for last week, and it's been a great help. Good work. I have a eurovox max v. Flashed it on saturday and it worked perfect. Updated itself during the match yesterday. HOWEVER - tried to do a mates yesterday and had problems. Can someone assist? When I tried to upload the channels and download the fix, it said "NO FREE COM PORT". No idea what to do. ANYONE SEEN THIS BEFORE??
    PS I an using the USB adaptor, and tried the above device manager stuff.

    Lenny123 sorry for delay was out getting a sambo - the Freq

    its possibly set at 6 or 7 so it will scan in steps of 6 or 7 but if you start it at 8 it will find your missing transponder

    its in power scan remember to put in the correct symbol rate 6875 for cork

    Can anyone help with Eurovox update. I have Eurovox Max blue and updated it with fix but since have nothing on box. done rescan but no luck. Any help please. Thank you

    Sorry - I was using my laptop. When I flashed my own box. The fix application was trying to operate off Com Port 3. USB was using Port 8. So I changed it to 3 in device manger, and everything went fine! I could not see any option on the fix application for changing the Com Port it wanted to use. Seemed to just automatically select. is this of help?

    So you used your Laptop for both opperations?

    And you set bothe the port on the laptop & the friends box to the same number? then you got the Msg no available port?
