Dobby we were asked to remove your links at the end of our sigs as someone complained about them, I wonder why?

8/11 grill slots means the length the silver tuner takes up.

Hi everyone, its my first post so go easy on me lol. i have a few questions which i hope someone can answer.

i purchased a eurovox max v (2008) last monday but only set it up today due to lack of time and guess what it dident work.

anyway after a few hours of research i found this thread (very helpful and welldone to everyone on here). i read about the frequenciy changes and managed to manuallly input them which has got it working.

but i also read about flashing the box with the latest software which i have obtained thanks to BigMaq (the person is a genius who came up with the idea). however when i tried to install the new software i failed.

i connected the box to my pc via the null cable modem but said it could not find the box when i started up the program, i tried setting up all the COMM ports etc but still no luck, the OS is windows ME
i have got a newer PC with windows vista but this has no connection for the cable,

should i buy a USB to Serial 9-Pin Male Adaptor such as http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=29968&C=Maplin&U=SearchTop&T=rs232 to usb&doy=15m4 and give this ago with my new pc, has this worked for anyone else?

second question is if and when i do install this new fix released on 10/04/08 will it auto update the box so i dont have to insert keys manually or what is it for.

i just want to say thank you in advance as i know there are some kind and knowledgable people on here and alot of people would be lost without them. thanks

Mods, but they got a complaint from a member here, either someone messing or a CC ploy who knows.

Yep you need an adapter, although a PCI card will work better with Vista and yes the new file will fix the AU problem.

    For DigiV0x

    Press menu,
    system info,
    ok type 1004,
    nagravision
you are now on code page,
check 00 line press ok button
when line of codes adjusted press ok button for 3 secs to store,
go up to 00 line and press left or right arrow to change 00 to 01 and check adjust if needed and store and exit out of system
