symbolrate....6952

I am in Dublin and on N_L
Is this information correct?

 

I think the Symbol Rate for NTL Ireland should be 6887

 

No, the symbol rate 6887, and you only scan from 290 to 400, All channels are between those freq.

Hi all. Need some help. I have a EuroVox Box (not sure which year but bought late last year on e-bay). It came with software loaded and has worked fine since then (apart from usual problems of channels disappearing etc). However, this week it stopped working all together. The LED display shows 12:00 then 4 lights (----) and then the lights move and it goes blank. I cannot turn it on, get a picture or do anything with it. My brother who lives in a different part of country has experienced the same problem about 1 week earlier. We both have Virgin Media cable. HELP and advice greatly appreciated.

 

Hi, I'm having trouble with the channels with the frequency 395.000, it just happenend all of a sudden, did a powerscan but it didn'y fix the problem, anyone got any suggestions? Would appriciate it.

You need to manually change freq. 387 to 394 and freq. 395 to 403

thanks for that but 403 did not work but 402.100 worked very well

 

New firmware released for the ev max v 2008 as the old firmware was killing some boxes. UFL_MAX_V_06_09_07 was released late last night. You can get it from the link at the bottom of my post.

 

I recieved my 2008 box the other day and its working grand it was already flashed. Do you think i need to flash the new firmware onto it..

 

I would recommed flashing with the new firmware as lots of ev maxes died with the factory firmware installed.

Been reading through most of the posts and noticed a lot of problems with the ev red box, pictures missing ect, I had a problem with the same box living in a Virg*n Med*a area in Scotland, seems they have reduced the power of their transponders and the result with the red box (new tuner from the blue) is that the picture and channels glitch or you loose them, I tried various software and firmware but no joy, as a last resort tried a antenna booster and yippee it worked a treat and i got 240 channels with great quality even some i have never heard of ! anyway hope this helps someone out there because its been driving me mad for a few weeks.

 

what type of box have you got is it 2007 box,if so how can i get 240 stations as i only have 141.

 

Different cable providers carry different numbers of channels. In Dublin you only get 141. In the UK you get many more.

 

on setanta sports 2 and on celtic tv it just says no signal, anybody got any suggestions on what i should do?
