    Hi there, im having abit of trouble with my euro vox (i think its 2007 it came in a red box from what i remember). Im currently only receiving a handful of channels whilst the rest are displaying a message "Service Unknown" how would i go about getting my box back to displaying all the channels its used to? I had a look through this thread for help but it is extremely long! sorry if the information is clearly there for me to read!

    This is my system information:

    Model:DVB-XC BOX TDA
    S/W Ver: 1.0 STC4 Feb 21 2007
    H/W Ver: 2.0t Feb 21 2007
    Bootstrap: v002

    Im not sure if this info is of use if you need anything else please ask. Oh....im in the Glasgow area and i receive ntl. Thanks for your help.

    hi there, it would appear we are all having the same problems........i got the eurovox max 2 months ago and it was wonderful.
    however........like so many others, i can get all the free view channels but not the scrambled ones.
    i have seen al the codes being given out, unfortunately i'm useless when it comes to anything electrical (my house seems to be the bermuda triangle of electrics).
    can anyone help a complete dummy????
    cheers.
    Paul.

    Hi Korky, hit the yellow button on remote. It will provide the screen for you to enter the codes. Your problem is that you box needs upgrading otherwise you will have to manually enter the codes everytime your provider changes the codes.

    Anyone got any idea how to change the symbol rate for a powerscan (Eurovox), it will allow me to manually change it for a normal scan but not a powerscan ????

    MANCHESTER AREA CODES FOR VXXXXN MXXXXA and x C&W users
    to enter codes manually for EuroVox
    Press MENU then press the YELLOW button
    a new screen will appear with the boxes to input the codes and provider codes

    to input the letters

    A= TV button
    B= RADIO button
    C= -P button
    D= +P button
    E= INFO button
    F= RECALL button

    Provider code C5 01

    KEY 0 = F1 48 4E 64 5A E1 A2 70

    KEY 1 = F2 73 A9 0F 26 09 69 0A

    Then press OK to save and the EXIT to go back to veiwing

    after that do a full power scan later tonight.

    that should end the problem

    having a problem with my eurovox max v.
    updated with new autorollover software,no problem.
    all channels up to 399mhz are breaking up,pixelating, worst at 291mhz. after 399mhz picture is solid.Have a normal cable box and signal is fine coming into it.have already plugged eurovox into same cable, problem still there. Anyone else had this problem?
    driving me crazy. rescanned a number of times.

    Thanks for the walkthrough, but I have read more than one on this thread, and I believe I know what to do:)

    It seems that my and "danorb's" probelm is something different however, as though the rs232/ufl programme is not detecting that the "receiver" is connected, when it is!!

    Any ideas, anyone?

    Thanks...

    Hiya.

    I have tried it in both stand-by and "turned on" modes...
    Still get the same error message!!!

    As though it isn't recognised as being connected.
    Cable (rs232 is good)
    Driver installed correctly.
    UFL is there, says DOWNLOAD......."OK" then.

    The same old error message!!!

    nice walkthrough SG8, just an idea if you'd like to add how to do the time fix after the factory reset and powerscan? no doubts youll get people asking you this after they have followed your steps.
