Eurovox Max problem

    I have a Eurovox Through Vigin Media (NTL) In Denton Greater Manchester, and i CANNOT get mine to work, any assistance would be much greatful.

    Everybody else i've spoken to round our area, the didnt need to do this, plus i've not got the cable for my laptop, is there anything elseyou could talk me through, please.

    Plus i tried those codes at least 3 times and still not working
    it just keeps displaying SERVICE UNKNOWN

    The new firmw@re is to AU the codes so you dont have to input them manually , unfortunally you need the cables to do this , or you can continue to input them with the remote control .

    Have you still got all the channels installed ?

    Make sure your cable is plugged into the RF Socket and not the antenna port

    Press Menu then press the YELLOW button

    A new screen will appear with boxes to input codes and provider details

    Provider : Type in 54 01

    and enter these codes into the b0xes provided

    00 = 8A 6B 42 56 D5 E3 83 1E

    01 = DB 7E 88 CA 37 E3 93 83

    Press OK to SAVE and then press EXIT



    To input the letters

    A = TV button
    B = RADIO button
    C = -P button
    D = +P button
    E = INFO button
    F = RECALL button

    am i right in saying that the code on the row are as follows

    C5 01
    F1 48 4E 64 5A E1 A2 70
    F2 73 A9 0F 26 09 69 OA

    just that somebody told me to use the following codes
    54 01
    8a 6b 42 56 d5 e3 83 1e
    db 7e 88 ca 37 e3 93 83

    i've tried them both 3 times and still nothing working

    HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Right i've changed it back to the one you have sent us again, still nothing worked, i'm just doing a Full Scan as we speak

    OK , no need to scan if you have your channels already installed

    I noticed the other codes you were trying (You have C5 instead of 5C )

    try these ones

    Provider : 5C 01

    00 = F1 48 4E 64 5A E1 A2 70

    01 = F2 73 A9 0F 26 09 69 0A

    No problem Daz , the next time you are looking to input the codes you need Ex C&W :) , glad you got it working

    gman , this night owl is going to bed to get some beauty sleep :) I need a bull dozer to get me up for work ha ha

    the flash update so as we dont have to put in the codes on a daily basis

    dont know if the bigmaq toolbar is worth downloading, its still saying that the latest keys for Ch*r*s ireland is 15/04/08? (yes i have refreshed it!) you will get the codes a lot quicker here thanks to some great people that constantly help us out!
