Hi karl thanks mate jees this code thing would ware you down I know i should'nt keep posting codes but felt so sorry for them with the match and all that plus they were updating so quick, Id normally point them in the direction of fergs and scousers page and now I have yours to add to it.

 

In a word Yes - works just the same - method and purpose, but it has to be a NULL MODEM cable

the last code i used lasted like 5 days, just need to get null modem cable to upgrade firmware and rid of dis problem Yaay, But thanks to this forum members

 

i wish the spanners would just copy the dam link and save it, sit back for a few minutes and check it every so often, or get their 10 year old kids to flash their boxes for them!!!

Also I took the chance and flashed my SV I don't even own a Eurovox but its were i spend most of me time AAAAAAh Well!!!!! you have to try and help.

 

i had the starview for about a year and only have the eurovox for about the last two wks, just basically read up on everything and the thing is bangin out the channels for me lol!!!

 

Way to go I flashed two on tuesday for a friend and so far so good, and over the weekend I'm even going to give a digivox ago LOL

Did you get rid of the SV or have you still got it and if you did why?

sorry guys but could you tell me what flashing and firmware is i asked now a couple of times but so far got no answer i would be so grateful

 

Flashing basically means upgrading your box with the latest firmware
and firmware is the most up to date programme out there for example the progarmme that will auto update your codes etc.

Now thats in laymans terms and not Technical terms LOL

i actually had ordered another starview and was delivered a eurovox max v so i decided to keep it and sold on the starview only then to be gutted with all the mess n@l put us through with their new technique, on the ball again though! absolutely no complaints about either box though
