Eurovox Max problem

10.15 a.m. 18th april the box has gone down again,does anyone have uptodate code for old telewest area north lanarkshire so far we have had good info thanks in advance

I did on Tuesday but it doesnt AU

I just wanted to know if it worked for you,
I have a black Eurovox Max V 2008
I cant fully tell if its a clone or Genuine box even after opening it up and looking inside it.
I think its a Genuine box, i bought it from Fergus, i dont think Fergus would have sold a clone box?

If it happens that i do have a clone box is there a fix for the AU ?

The AU sometimes gets stuck in a loop with Kuro 3, just press the default button in the CAS screen this should solve it.

 

I think TW just gone again! Mine says updating code!

Updating code complete, Firmware seems to be doing the trick! Thanks to all on here!

Hi t*****st seem to be trying very hard. Thankfully my eurovox blue box seems to be autorolling ok at the moment.
Unlike my neighbours starview 1 box which i updated with the fix worked ok untill the next autoroll then it went back to inputing codes manually.
Anyone any ideas on another fix for this.
would be greatly appreciated.

 

Tell them to press menu, type 1570, make sure Key EMU is on and press the default key button, sometimes they get stuck in a loop.

A null modem cable is required
i use an usb to serial adapter pluged into the null modem cable then into box
install drivers for the adapter if you are using vista they will install automatically.

 

My pc will not pick up the com port when EV is connected through null modem cable so i have just purchased these USB to RS232 SERIAL COM Port DB9 Cable + DB25 Adapter can you tell me if this is correct cable and if it should work as i am waiting on it to be delivered , thanks mate.

where is best to purchase 1 from and does the new firmware work, also thanks for the codes work a treat

 

you can throw the db25 part in the bin, no use to you,its the right cable if it fits into the back of the box,you didnt state if it was male or female. db9f

 

The DB25 adapter came as part of the pack , thanks for the info mate.

 

The USB to serial port adapter fits into null modem so my guess is its female.

 

i know that the firmware works for the eurovox blue
i got my cables off ebay rs232 usb to serial then null modem cable.
i believe if you are using a laptop or an old puter the null modem cable will be all you need.

 

i have black eurovox v, how much are the usb cables im using vista
