Eurovox Max problem

Just wondering guys how long can it take for the scrambled channels to clear for the first time after scanning and getting the 141 channels on N*l??

Got a case first 4 cleared in 5-10 mins over the weekend but the second 4 dont seem to be clearing....

Boxes seem fine on the clear channels (rte2 tv3 etc) and when on sky sports 1 - on screen says 'please wait, updating code' - which suggests software is installed.

any ideas guys??

 

you could try turning your box off and then back on again and see will that sort your problem out mine is doing the same just make sure the channel you have on is not a channel that shuts down after a certain hour

 

Have you seen this happen be4 fergus... first for me

 

Boxes have not AU'd over night will try to apply software again tonight, if anyone is else is having problems updating the code for the first time please let me know....

 

I had same problem a few weeks ago.Everything just sorted itself out.
I think N*L were f*ucking around

 

Is the emulator turned on for these particular boxes?

 

Any suggestions.. I have a 2006 box and recently the display on the front of the box seems to be playing up, reading all over the place but its still working. also the channels on freq.459 MUTV ,PPV CHANNEL etc. keeps jumping and freezing..

Frequency 459 doesnt ring a bell what provider are you on and is it true cable and not MMDS. Are you in Cork or Waterford?

 

Im in Waterford and im on N*L the freq has Mutv, PPV ,Chelsea TV,Virgin etc on it..

 

Have you tried increasing and decreasing this tp by 500Hzs as this usually helps. Try increasing, i.e. to 459.500 first.

I've tried a complete re scan and still no joy maybe it's just a bad signal for now..

 

That might be possible Nedser, as we've had reports on here from all over the big smoke, for a while now, where
people in different areas are losing channels, or they are getting jumpy, and it turns out that n*l have been
lowering the power of signals in places, not sure if this applies to you, but sounds plausible. Do you have a signal
booster handy that you could try, or know someone who might lend you one for an hour or two to see if it improves it before
you splash out one, and find out it makes no difference.

 

Yeah eamo i've tried this and still the same i think i'll just leave it for a few days and see if it'll settle down its fairly annoying all the same..

 

Nedser you need to take that tp down 1Mhz from 459.000 to 458.000 that will solve your problem.

Press menu, installation, user installation, highlight 459.000 tp and use onscreen button guide to edit to 458.000. When done exit out to frequency page, highlight the new 458.000 frequency press OK, (a tick will appear beside it). Press blue button to enable a manual scan on this frequency. That will sort it for you.

 

Scouser you're a genious, i did as you said and it's perfect!! Cheers for that, my little fella was trying to watch the wrestling on PPV and it was all over the place.. He's happy as a pig in sh*t. Tanx again..
