    Yep Anto the latest one is the official release the other one is SunRises fix I have seen a debate about it here already, TBH I never take sides in this sort of issue and to me its up to people to educate themselves as into what firmware is good or bad.

    The one I put in Eamos this morning is officially from the Kuro guys, but the SunRise version also works.

    thanks lads for your help in the last few weeks,i feeling brave so i going to flash my box,i have a 2007 red box one and i want the right firmware to use and the dummies way to do it i know it is in some of the pages gone by but i saw some body saying that the firmware was no right

    You will find a red box firmware file as of last week in Eamos FTA Library but I would wait as a new version is due out today/tomorrow.

    Same steps different firmware thats all you will find the latest blue firmware in Eamos FTA Library but there is a new one to be released soon. BTW there are clone and genuine blue boxes to which the firmware differs. Have a look in Eamos for info.

    Nedser as I said they are the earlier versions. The 18/04/08 version is for the MaxV only, red and blue to follow.

    No not at all, they just take a while to update codes in comparison to the latest firmware thats all.

    is there different firmware for blue and blue clone? I have a sneaky feeling i have the clone.....but im not sure......2/3 pics suggest i have the blue clone....just so i get this right, thereis different firmware available for clone??? if so...i shall search and try that out....

    Nedser if they are genuine MaxVs the latest firmware will AU a lot quicker so it up to you ;)
