Eurovox Max problem

Is there only 1 null port cable in NAAS, dont tell me the shops over there have sold out of them lol...!!

i am new to all this. whats the firm ware. i have euro vox max v black box. its a sreiuos pain them changing the codes . i just down the road from you . in laois

 

when i got all my boxes they all came with the cable but if you dont have a maplins or a pc store or they are sold out - coz everyone wants them lol try ebay.
My box and lappy and pc all have female and male ends and my cable has female ends , have heared people say that some machines and boxes have both female and male. my cable is female both ends which i plug into the male( Pins) ends of box and lappy/pc

 

download the new firmware for the eurovox max v from the link below called firmware and get yourself a null modem cable db9f to db9f, your pc might have already a connection if not get a USB to 9 Pin Serial Adaptor Converter RS232, google it or get it on e-bay.

 

Hi all, can anyone tell me how many channels I should be recieving through my eurovox Max V please. I am in Limerick and this is C****S Land.........

 

Still missing channels after download should i start all ove again

Im unsure for your area but I get around 240 channels in west yorkshire if that helps? I would of thought you would get the same?

wonder if anyone has any idea why i'm missing a load of channles.

I've lost sly prem, challenge, boomerang, bravo and a few others too.

I got 92% singnal and have tried updating and power scanning, but i'm not having any luck.

I got the latest firmware and i'm using a Eurovox v max 2008, amny ideas guys and gals?

 

i wish, i can get 139 channels in south east of irl and 35 radio channels

 

can anyone help me, i uploaded the firmware to my eurovox max v but it cant find a transponder hence no stations, i reflashed it but still nothin, any ideas whats wrong, cud it be a clone box and wrong firmware???? any help is appreciated thanx

thing is, when i goto the installation menu and press the blue button for manual scan, nothing happens.

what am I dooing wrong?

Haven't a clue Steve. But just wanted to offer it to anyone in the neighbourhood in case they were having trouble finding one.
I'm saving myself for Friday for the horses when the crowd should be the biggest and the drink will be flowing

if you are constantly having to put in codes to get the channels, then you should update your box with the latest rev firmaware to prevent this.

 

When you have put in the new freq, press OK button on it so it has a tick symbol beside it. Then do a manual scan and it should work

 

click on powerscan and enter the frequencies there.

Hi all, I installed the new firmware in my eurovox Max V it works, but it only updates the code when I change channel or press the OK button. I would like to know if it should just autoroll and if it should has anyone any suggestions on how to get it to do so. Thanks in advance

 

sometimes it au by itself other times it gets stuck on please insert smart card, just change the channel or try a reflash, no biggy really though
