Eurovox Max problem

    had a play with the frequencies and it seems the reason i'm missing these channles is because I have a crap signal strength on them, it jumps around between 0 and 20% quite erratically.

    would a signal booster help any do you recon?

    IF ANYONE IS MISSING CHANNELS AFTER GETTING LATEST UPDATE (18/04/08)FOR THE EUROVOX MAX V....

    I had the same problem. Try This...

    Press MENU on remote. Then go to Config > Clear Data > System Default. This will restore your box to the factory settings. After this is done, it will prompt you to do a full scan, just press OK. I got ALL my channels back after this.

    Not saying it's a deffo fix, but worked for me :)

    hello hiteck thanks for the lastest red eurovox firmware is this alright to use for NTL DUBLIN,and could you send me the dummies way to install it ,i know it is in other threads but i can not find it or else somebody help

    Follow post one and post two on the link above, Wether its a black red or blue eurovox reciever they all update the same. All the latest firmware is posted under my ManU Pic below thanks to Vardius!

    and yes its fine for ntl Dublin

    Craig, spot on. I did this and I got back all my channels plus a few more I didn't have before. Only problem is it put them all in alphabetical order, where before I had them grouped.

    You can put them in what order you want by pressing
    menu
    channels
    channel manager
    ok then 0000 or 1004
    red for sort
    then your choice

    ANYONE having problems with santana sports 1,2 and 3.. keep breaking up and ever so often saying update code and insert smartcard but a picture is still there

    Sorry did a update and they are fine again

    Red means sort them by name = Alpabetical order
    Type = sports/ favs/ kids and so on
    frequency= lowest freq to highest
    manual= pres yellow on the channel you want to move, then go to the channel you want to move it to then press yellow again which places there.
