    Try getting a CDF (Channel dump file) file from the Library & up it to the box.

    Those codes do not work for n*l, 9am,25/4...anyone got current codes ?

    Guys Cablestar.com are selling Null Cables for 99pence plus postage of £1-50 approx if you have any trouble getting one.
    I know you have to wait a few days but it's an option.

    Can anyone help?. I have updated both my Eorovox 2008 box's and am getting all the channels OK. When I try to set up my favourites the do not all go into the chategories selected and som dont even appear in the Fav list even though they are there. Thanks to all concerned for the info available

    Turn FAV Sort off and sort them again. Press menu,installation, user installation. Press yellow button and turn it off.

    Been reading through the thread seems to be some slightly conflicting bits but it`s noticeable certain people do really seem to know what they`re talking about when it comes to this upgrade so I have serial null modem cable on order now, once it arrives, I will ask one of the more knowledgeable ones(like yourself I guess) where to get link for black eurovox 2008 & download.(or is the update same for all boxes no matter what you have?).
    I assume you have done it so could I finally ask you, when it`s done, is there any interuption in your viewing when n*l roll codes or is it just continuous viewing so you dont even notice. I got eurovox in jan & had no interuption until last few weeks so was wondering was that because the unit was auto updating changes or were n*l just not doing this before ?

    Can anyone tell me, I have downloaded the software into the eurovox, and it went this morning and is still not back,when I downloaded the software it said it would upgrade it to version 2.1 but my friend said the other boxes he downloaded the software into were version 2 starting off. Have I downloaded the wrong software????

    For the Max V use the latest firmware Kuro 3 18/04/08, you will find it in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post. Great response to AU in a minute or less. So not much interuption. Keyroll change to encryption by N** & others led to this change.

    What EV do you have is it a Max V? Press menu, config and system info and post the S/W Version.

    Ok, I`m hoping I dont need a zip drive to use it because its a zip file ?
    Anyway, assuming not, I thought I`d save it to PC, so I was ready when serial cable arrived but when I went to open it got msge, "this application may depend on other compressed files in this folder For the application to run properly it is recommended that you first extract all files"
    options are extract all or run, should I hit extract all ?

    Scouser, Thanks for you help in trying to find the Disney channel, I tried to add 402 but I get an error saying that the 402 is an invalid frequency ?, any idea's

    Thanks scOuser. When you say turn Fav sort off I assume I have to go into Installation, user Installation, yellow button to do this
    (or am I being thick?) Sort again. Do I have to reset all my Favourites before this sort?
