Yeah :( I've just looked in the manual and it says "Be aware that the function can completely delete the saved channels"! Stupid me, can you help?

OK have you tried a normal powerscan using symbol rate 6887 start at 100 Mhz up t0 1000 Mhz as I am not sure of your transponder list.

Hi i'm trying that now do you mean start at 100 MHZ and finish at 1000 MHZ? If that's the case then i'm confused as I don't know if you can move the decimal point to make 1000 MHZ?

I see you need to update the firmware to the latest version but I cannot advise you on this until I know if your box is a clone or genuine, if you click the link at the end of my post called SV EV Info you will see info there to help you decide.

In the meantime have you got it connected directly to the incoming feed? Then do a full powerscan. You may need to clear all channel data first, press menu, config, Clear Data, Erase all channels.

    Hi sc0user,

Can you clarify for me as I'm a little confused.
This guy is using a Eurovox? but does the link for the genuine versus clone not refer to the Sta****w?

OK you need to get one you can get them on fleabay for a few quid.

Are you definitely plugged into the RF cable in socket on the back of the EV? Also press menu, installation and user installation can you see a frequency list there and if so how many?

Well looks like update time and you will need the null modem cable. I will see if I can find a channel dump for your provider and area but you will still need to get the lead to use this.

Are you sure you have set it to do a FULL powerscan as opposed to a normal powerscan?
