i would really appreciate if anyone could help me please,
i am in coventry, west-midlands area, and i have updated my codes for n*l(18 april 2008) but still the screen says "please wait code being updated". any suggestions. i ve run the power scan & done everything else. what do i need to do now?? i am getting only the free channels..

I had same problem after updating to 18 04 08 flash when i checked my emm capture had been disabled. check this by pressing menu, then language settings then enter 1968 twice for hidden menu.

 

HK77 .. Make sure your provider is 54 01

 

Also make sure you have provider 54 01 if you are using N*L codes

i have typed in 54 01 for n*l with the latest codes but nothing seems to work. i have not uploaded any firmware.do i need to upload a firmware?
i have EUROVOX Max V box. do u reckon the codes are different from the ones given on the page of STARVIEW Codes. if yes, then where can i find codes for eurovox max V..

I've double checked the codes and they are correct for N*L , are you sure you are inputting the UK codes and not Ireland ?

There is a new firmw@re release for Max V 2008 and it will Auto Update the codes for you

Your best bet is to actually open the screws around the b0x and have a look inside and compare the pics from that site as there is different firmw@re for clone and genuine b0xes

 

yeah i also think flashing a torch in the right bottom corner would be faster to see if the little green round attachments are there ive checked genuine max v and you can clearly see them so that should be good enough

 

Another way is

If you look into the grills on the top of the b0x and see a ribbon cable it is a genuine b0x.

If you see a load of individual white cables it is a clone.

im on ch***s dublin and have a rv max 2007.dose anyone know if there is a way of running the ev and the ch***s box at the same time.when i connect them both in different rooms using a splitter the ev is fine buth the ch***s box dose not work , but as soon as i plug out the ev the other box then works.will they just not work at same time or is there another way.thanks to all who giving help on here.
