    hey ya guys, my stations are all jumping and cracking for the last 2 hours, i live in dublin city is anyone else have this problem today or is there something i can do to fix it??????????

    hi my euro box lost power a few weeks ago and the fella i bought it of wont change it someone told me to jtag it will this work

    It may but you need to check your power board first to see if any caps are bulging or blown, as it could be a PSU problem.

    Open up the box and have a look at the board. How long have you had it and what version is it, e.g, 2006,2007 or 2008.

    I have to leave for a while will be back later. You say you have it a month so is it a 2007 model, (came in a red package) or is it a 2008 model, (came in a black package). It does sound like it needs jtagging though.

    You could make you own jtag but I recommend you buy one. You will find one here http://www.tailor-madecircuits.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=32 it will be accompanied by tsop file and step by step instructions. Any problems just drop back.

    Hi Scouser, i recently recieved new firmware and wondering if i really need to put it on the box and would you say it'd work on the older boxes (2006,2007)..

    It depends on the model you have and the firmware you received as there is new firmware for all model types.

    It's a new firmware for the 2008 boxes it's supposed to be for the EPG and to enhance signals etc. if you want it just pm me and i'll send it on..
